Caniiço is a suburb that is about 10 minutes from Funchal City. It is serviced by 2 bus companies and the bus stop is 20 meters away. There are lots of restaurants and a fantastic pizza restaurant just downstairs. SUpermarket is 5 minutes away as is the highway. Cristo Rei is 2 minutes away and so is the beach.
You can use the 2 bus services, taxi service, Bolt and Uber services as well as your own vehicle. Walking is also easy here unlike most of Madeira which has lots of uphills and downhills.
